Integrity Commission Discusses Anti-Corruption Cooperation with Russian Ambassador

The President of the Federal Integrity Commission, Mohammed Ali Al-Lami, received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Elbrus Kutrashev, to discuss methods of strengthening bilateral cooperation in combating corruption and exchanging regulatory expertise. Al-Lami emphasized the commission's commitment to fighting corruption and safeguarding public funds in line with public aspirations, leveraging the support provided by the government program. He highlighted Iraq's keenness to strengthen partnership with the Russian Public Prosecution through mutual visits and sharing best practices in prevention and control, in accordance with signed memorandums of understanding. For his part, the Russian Ambassador commended the commission's efforts and expressed his country's commitment to ongoing cooperation and knowledge exchange between the regulatory bodies of both nations.
