mniraq - The Federal Integrity Commission announced the arrest of the accounts department director and another employee in the Dhi Qar Governorate Diwan red-handed while receiving a financial bribe in exchange for completing transactions.
The commission stated that an investigative team moved to the governorate diwan and managed to catch the suspects red-handed while receiving the bribe money from a contractor in exchange for disbursing his financial dues.
It explained that the suspects deliberately delayed completing the transaction despite fulfilling the conditions, and the competent investigative judge decided to detain them in accordance with the provisions of the law to take necessary measures.
