Local financial markets recorded stable trading for gold and foreign currency exchange rates in the capital and various provinces. The global gold ounce price reached $4,023, with domestic selling prices per mithqal recorded at 900,000 dinars for 22-karat, 860,000 dinars for 21-karat, and 736,000 and 632,000 dinars for different categories of 18-karat gold, while 14-karat stood at 572,000 dinars, 12-karat at 490,000 dinars, and 9-karat at 368,000 dinars. In the currency market, the US dollar exchange rate saw a relative decline, with the Al-Kifah Stock Exchange in Baghdad recording 152,500 dinars per $100, and the Al-Harithiya Stock Exchange at 152,250 dinars. Meanwhile, the exchange rate reached 151,000 dinars in the Basra exchange and 152,000 dinars in the Erbil exchange per $100.
