Ghalibaf: Washington Informed of Utter Mistrust; Negotiation Path Fraught with Escalation Risks

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated that Tehran has informed the American side, through negotiating channels, of a complete lack of trust in US intentions. He stressed that entering into negotiations with the United States necessitates total readiness for all scenarios, including military confrontation. In his remarks, he pointed out that previous assessments by Washington and its allies regarding the subjugation of Tehran within days have proven to be a resounding failure, asserting that the Western axis has realized the impossibility of achieving its strategic goals through policies of pressure and military threats.
