mniraq - The National Security Service announced the dismantling of a network specialized in stealing and smuggling oil out of Iraq, located in Muthanna province. The agency detailed that the gang used a farm near an oil pipeline as a cover to build an underground pipeline network 270 meters deep. The operation resulted in the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of modified smuggling vehicles. Investigations revealed the network generated monthly profits reaching half a billion dinars through long-standing breaches.
