Director of Dhi Qar Electricity Distribution Branch Relieved of Duties, Replacement Appointed Amid Summer Preparations

Informed sources in Dhi Qar province reported the relief of Abdul Majeed Alaa Majeed, the Director of the province's Electricity Distribution Branch, from his duties. This move is part of government efforts to reorganize administrative and technical work in the energy sector, coinciding with the gradual rise in temperatures. According to the sources, the Ministry of Electricity issued an order appointing Mohammed Faisal Ruwaidi to manage the branch, replacing the relieved director, without officially announcing the reasons for this change. This administrative action comes amid widespread anticipation in the southern provinces, including Dhi Qar, for a harsh summer season often accompanied by a decline in electricity supply hours, amidst ongoing challenges facing the country's energy sector.
