Central Emergency Room Established to Ensure Power Grid Stability During Summer

The Minister of Electricity, Ali Saadi Wuhaib, issued directives on Saturday to establish a specialized central emergency room to address the anticipated challenges of the 2026 summer season and to prepare early for the requirements of major religious pilgrimages. This initiative aims to ensure the stability of the electrical grid and secure continuous power supply during peak hours. The action plan includes precise load monitoring, resolving technical bottlenecks, and enhancing the operational efficiency of power plants and networks. The Minister also emphasized the necessity of field presence for the specialized committees, granting them all necessary administrative and technical authorities to overcome obstacles and ensure smooth workflow in alignment with current challenges.
