Calls for Comprehensive Investigation into Asphalt Plants and Allocated Fuel Quotas

Official and media appeals have been directed to the Prime Minister to launch a comprehensive investigation into the operations of asphalt plants to determine their compliance with actual operational standards, particularly in the Karma district of Anbar province and several other provinces. The calls focused on investigating suspicions regarding ghost plants exploiting their allocated black oil quotas for sale in parallel markets, causing significant financial waste. There were demands to form joint field audit committees from the Ministries of Oil and Industry to conduct surprise inspections and assess production capacities, aiming to enhance transparency and regulate the distribution of public resources.
