Arab Parliament Appreciates Jeddah Summit Outcomes and Renews Its Stand with Gulf Security

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, praised the final statement of the 19th Consultative Summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council hosted by Jeddah, describing its decisions as firm. Al Yamahi renewed the Parliament's support for the sovereign right of Arab countries to defend their territories against any attacks, affirming at the same time the categorical rejection of any threat to the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to preserve global energy security. He also noted Saudi Arabia's significant efforts in strengthening the march of joint Arab action.
