Al-Zaidi and Al-Maliki Discuss Completing the Government Formation and Supporting the Development Program

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Kamil Al-Maliki, affirmed on Thursday, May 28, 2026, the importance of uniting the efforts of all national forces to ensure the completion of the government formation. The meeting, held on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, covered discussions on the overall political and general situation in the country. Both sides agreed on the necessity of providing political support to the government to enable it to implement its ministerial program and comprehensive development plans, thereby meeting the hopes and aspirations of the Iraqi people in enhancing security, stability, and service provision.
