Al-Azm Alliance Calls for Permanent Contracts and Payment of Farmers' Dues

mniraq - The leadership body of the Al-Azm Alliance met with Finance Minister Faleh Sari on Thursday, September 10, 2026, to discuss a number of legislative and executive issues, including the permanent appointment of contract employees and the payment of farmers' financial dues. The meeting stressed the need to accelerate the payment of dues owed to farmers who have marketed their agricultural crops, as well as to permanently place contract employees in various ministries on the government payroll under the upcoming federal budget. The leadership also called for fair treatment of former Iraqi Army personnel and the payment of their financial entitlements in accordance with legal and administrative procedures.
