A number of psychology students at the College of Education, Wasit University, have issued an urgent appeal to relevant authorities following a decision to transfer them to other universities after reaching their third stage of study. The transfer is reportedly due to an administrative error in their initial admission process. The students explained that they were officially notified that their admission should have been to the College of Arts rather than the College of Education, requiring them to transfer to universities in Baghdad or Al-Qadisiyah. They highlighted that this decision places them in severe hardship, as many are employees or have family obligations, making relocation virtually impossible and effectively forcing them to start over. The students appealed to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for an immediate legal resolution to protect their right to continue their studies at Wasit University.
